BARBARA SEXTON SMITH

recipient of the 2014 Arts Community Impact Award

BARBARA SEXTON SMITH is a Louisville Connector and stalwart in the arts community who in 28 years has helped raise more than $208 million dollars for the Fund for the Arts, Metro United Way, and many others. Most recently Barbara was President and CEO of the Fund for the Arts.


JENNIFER CARPENTER ('98)

recipient of the 2014 Inspirational Alumni Award

JENNIFER CARPENTER is a critically acclaimed actress (and alumna of Walden Theatre and Juilliard) best known for her roles in film and television, especially in the Showtime drama Dexter playing Dexter's adoptive sister and for her breakout title role in the 2005 film The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
